Today, the New York Penn League and the Brooklyn Cyclones officially released the logo of the 2014 NYPL All Star game, which will take place at MCU Park on Tuesday August 19th. The Cyclones have partnered with Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn and TicTopStop.org to sponsor the game.

Fans are encouraged to purchase a Brooklyn Cyclones Season Ticket Plan or a Partial Season Plan to guarantee themselves tickets to the All Star Game. The 2005 NYPL All Star Game drew a packed house. 9,054 people showed up for a standing room only game.

The logo for the All Star Game was designed by Brandiose in San Diego.

Due to the Houston Astros moving from the National League to the American League prior to the 2013 MLB season, there are 8 AL Affiliates and 6 NL Affiliates in the NYPL. To balance it out, the 14 affiliates will be split into 2 teams, a South team (which includes the Brooklyn Cyclones & Staten Island Yankees) and a North team. The South Team will be managed by the manager of the Cyclones.
