This week will feature 5 home games, a local road game, some boxing, honoring a hoax, yet another jersey and making the interns due real work for once.
Monday, August 24th, 7:00pm: Hudson Valley Renegades @ Brooklyn Cyclones
It will a normal night of baseball, as the only thing on the promo schedule is post-game running of the bases, open to everyone.
The game is presented by Healthfirst.

I will not be making the trip, as I am attending the Brooklyn Brawl at MCU Park. The fight will be promoted by former boxer Dmitry Salita, aka STAR OF DAVID.
Mark Fratto, MCU Park’s PA Announcer, who has had a big role in promoting the event, will serve as ring announcer. He replaces “Diamond” David Diamante. Diamante, who is the Brooklyn Nets PA Announcer, was ring announcer for the previous installments of Brooklyn Brawl.
The last professional boxing event at in Coney Island occurred on July 8, 2001, when Hector Camacho Jr. defeated Jesse James Leija via a controversial, referee-halted TKO.

Wednesday, August 26th, 7:00pm: Hudson Valley Renegades @ Brooklyn Cyclones
The team will be giving out bobbleheads of fictitious 168-MPH flame thrower Sidd Finch as part of the Sidd Finch 30th Anniversary Celebration. Only 2,500 of these cool bobbleheads that will be hot sellers will be given out, so get in line early.
Anyone named Sidd will be able to receive a discounted bleacher ticket for $1.68. This deal is valid only at the MCU Park Box Office and you must have photo ID that shows your FIRST NAME as SIDD. Sidney & Sid will not be accepted.
In honor of Sidd’s desire to play the French Horn, a French Horn player will preform the national anthem.
In honor of Sidd Finch, the Cyclones will wear special jerseys, inspired by the 1985 New York Mets Spring Training uniform, Sidd’s “rookie” season. The uniforms are blue with orange and white sleeves and collar. It says BKLYN CYCLONES in the style of the original Cyclones road uniforms. The jerseys will feature a special Sidd Finch 30th Anniversary patch on the right sleeve & be available at the Team Store. The team will also wear matching blue & orange hats.
It is a Way Back Wednesday, as all tickets are $10.
Following the game, fans can run the bases. In honor of Sidd’s time in Cambridge, anyone wearing a Harvard tee-shirt will be able to jump the line.
Thursday, August 27th, 7:00pm: Aberdeen Ironbirds @ Brooklyn Cyclones
It is the final Jersday Thursday of 2015. The team will be giving out Throwback Classic BKLYN Jerseys presented by MCU. Only the 1st 3,000 fans who enter MCU Park will get jerseys, so make sure to be in line early.
It is also the 1955 Dodgers Celebration, celebrating 60 years since Brooklyn last won a championship.
This will also bring the Jersday Thursday count up to 40 since the inception in 2010. This count excludes the Jersey? Sure! giveaway jersey, as it was not marketed as part of the Jersday Thursday. The count also excludes all Season Ticket Holder Jerseys, 5K Walk / Run Jerseys & all jerseys given out prior to the 2010 season.
Friday, August 28th, 7:00pm: Aberdeen Ironbirds @ Brooklyn Cyclones
Following the game are the famous Coney Island Post-Game Fireworks.
Saturday, August 29th, 7:00pm: Aberdeen Ironbirds @ Brooklyn Cyclones
The cyclones close the series with Aberdeen. The game is presented by NYU, which houses their baseball team at MCU Park.
It is also Military Appreciation Night, so there will be an Intern Boot Camp.
Following the game are Post-Game Fireworks.
