qmeme_1440902082365_24The hits just keep coming. And by hits, I meant blows to the team, as this team cannot hit.

Aberdeen took an early lead in the Top of the 3rd when Mike Odenwaelder homered to left.

Brooklyn tied it up in the Bottom of the 4th. Vinny Siena led off with a walk and a single by David Thompson singled him to 3rd. Jeff Diehl hit a sac fly to left to score Siena.

In the Top of the 5th, Drew Turbin led off with a single to left. He stole 3rd as Odenwaelder went down swinging. Cedric Mullins flew out, moving Turbin to 3rd. A balk by starter Edioglis Villasmil scored Turbin to make it 2-1.

The Cyclones tied it up with the Bottom of the 5th. Hengelbert Rojas led off with a 1-out single. Branden Kaupe grounded out, moving Rojas to 2nd. Alfredo Reyes singled to left, scoring Rojas to tie the game as Reyes went to 2nd on the throw. Siena went down looking to end the inning.

Aberdeen retook the lead in the Top of the 6th. Stewart led off with a single and a double by Randolph Gassaway moved him to 3rd. A sac fly by Steve Laurino scored Stewart. Villasmil got Alex Murphy & Austin Pfeiffer to ground out to end the inning.

The Cyclones were unable to score and they ran into more trouble in the Top of the 9th. With PJ Conlon in to pitch. Turbin hit a 1-out double to left and a ground out by Turbin sent him to 3rd. Cedric Mullins singled to left, scoring Turbin and a triple by Ricardo Andujar scpred Mullins. Conlon struck out Stewart to end the inning, but the Cyclones still lost.
