qmeme_1440901063526_388After dropping 3 in a row, the Cyclones managed to snap their losing streak tonight, thanks to an offensive outburst that led to 10 runs.

Cyclones starter Tyler Badamo gave up a run in the Top of the 1st. Cedric Mullins & Ricardo Andujar led off the game with singles. A double play moved Mullins to 3rd & a wild pitch scored him.

The Cyclones began the scoring in the Bottom of the 4th. Vinny Siena led off with a single to center, but David Thompson hit into a 3-6-3 double play. Jeff Diehl singled to left and a single by Zach Mathieu made it 1st & 3rd. A wild pitch by Ironbirds starter Travis Seabrooke score Diehl & sent Mathieu to 2nd. Desmond Lindsay drew a walk. Brandon Brosher finally broke through, hitting a double to right, scoring Mathieu & Lindsay. Pedro Perez took one for the team and was hit by pitch.

That would be it for Seabrooke, as Elias Pinales was called in to pitch. Branden Kaupe singled to right, scoring Brosher and sending Perez to 3rd. A wild pitch by Pinales sent Kaupe to 2nd, but 2 would be left in scoring position as Alfredo Reyes went down swinging.

The Cyclones added another 2 in the Bottom of the 5th when Mathieu homered to left-center field and scored Diehl to make it 6-1.

Cyclones starter Tyler Badamo gave up another run in the Top of the 6th. Stewart drew a 2-out walk. A balk sent Stewart to 3rd & he scored on a fielding error by Kaupe.

The Cyclones put the game away in the Bottom of the 6th. Brosher reached on an infield single. A wild pitch sent the person to 2nd. Perez doubled to left, scoring Brosher. Branden Kaupe singled to left, moving Perez to 3rd. A wild pitch by Pinales scored Perez and moved Kaupe to 2nd. Reyes flew out, but a single from Siena moved Kaupe to 3rd. Pinales was pulled for Yi-Hsiang Lin. Thompson hit a sac fly to left, scoring Kaupe and Siena went to 2nd on an error by LF Stewart. Diehl singled to left, moving Siena to 3rd. Mathieu doubled to left, scoring Siena & moving Diehl to 3rd. Lindsay went down looking to end the inning.

Nicco Blank threw 3 shutout innings to earn the save, giving Brooklyn the win.
