Tommy Cassidy, 45, is originally from the Midwood section of Brooklyn, and now lives in Tottenville, Staten Island. Tommy became a Cyclones fan in 2001, when the team moved to Coney Island, as he loved the idea of baseball returning to Brooklyn after so many years. Tommy has been a Mets fan for many years.
Tommy’s 1st game at MCU Park got off to a bit of a rough start this past season on July 4th. He was running late and as he was walking along Surf Avenue, he almost got hit by a foul ball. He went with his girlfriend, Kimberly Rosado, and his mother and son, shortly after the passing of his father.
This past winter, Tommy became a Season Ticket Holder, as he now has seats in Section 16, Row E.
In addition to being a Season Ticket Holder for the Brooklyn Cyclones, Tommy was also a Season Ticket Holder for the Brooklyn Bolts during the 2015 season.
Tommy’s favorite Brooklyn Cyclones player to date is Patrick Biondi. Tommy said he was impressed how Biondi have his son a ball during a game.
Tommy also enjoyed picking up a ton of items at the Cyclones garage sale this past November. This past weekend, he took advantage of the Cyclones City sale and picked up a road jersey for this upcoming season.
Tommy’s favorite food to eat at MCU Park are the Nathan’s cheese fries. His favorite giveaways are jerseys and bobbleheads.
Tommy is currently a Corrections Officer at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in Westchester. He has been in Law Enforcement for 21 years. He said he hoped do to an outing for the staff this summer.
