There is plenty of College Baseball going on at MCU Park the next, as there will be 4 doubleheaders in the next 4 days, as both the New York University Violets and the Baruch College Bearcats will combine to play 8 home games, weather permitting.

This week will see 3 teams from the CUNY Athletic Conference, a former tenant of MCU Park and a team from upstate NY.

On Thursday, April 21st, the Violets will once again host the St. Joseph’s – Brooklyn Bears. Last time the two teams faced, the Violets blew out the Bears 13-0. The twinbill will begin at 12:00 PM with the 2nd game starting 25 minutes after game 1.

Friday will bring the SUNY – New Paltz Hawks to Surf Avenue. The schedule originally called for a single game, but a rain out on April 5th at New Paltz has led to this game becoming a doubleheader. 1st Pitch of Game 1 is scheduled for 3:30 PM with the 2nd game starting 25 minutes after game 1.

Members of Violet Nation will recieve an NYU Pennant at the game. To become part of Violet Nation, CLICK HERE.

Saturday’s game shifts over to the CUNY Athletic Conference. The Baruch Bearcats will host the Lehman College Lightning for a 1:00 PM doubleheader with the 2nd game starting 30 minutes after game 1.

This is likely to be the Bearcats final home game of the 2016 season at MCU Park.

The Violets close out the weekend on Sunday with a doubleheader against the College of Staten Island Dolphins. The twinbill is called for 12:00 PM with the 2nd game starting 25 minutes after game 1.

Admission to NYU Violets games is $5 and free to all those with a NYU Student, Staff, Faculty or Alumni Card. Admission to the Baruch Bearcats game is FREE.
