Coney Stillwell TermWith Opening Day finally upon us, it is now time for the weekend’s MTA service changes.

A number of fans have given me a few suggestions on how to improve my postings for this season, and I have listened to a few. The best suggestion was to list TO GAME or FROM GAME for each posting.

Due to this weekend having the Cyclones play BKLYN-SI-BKLYN, I will list the changes in order of date.

For all changes NORTH of Atlantic Ave on the D N & Q and NORTH of Jay Street on the F, check MTA.info.

SEASON LONG CHANGES

F Train

TO GAME: Coney Island-bound platforms at Avenue I, Bay Parkway, Avenue N, Avenue P, Avenue U & Avenue X are closed for renovations. If you need one of these bypassed stops, take a Manhattan Bound F Train to Kings Highway or Neptune Avenue for Coney Island-bound service.

Consider using the B68 Bus or the Q Train

N Train

FROM GAME: Manhattan-bound platforms at 86th Street, Avenue U, Kings Highway, 20th Avenue, 18th Avenue,  New Utrecht Avenue & Fort Hamilton Parkway are closed for renovation. To access these stations, take the N to Bay Parkway or 8th Ave for Coney Island-bound service. For New Utrecht Av-62 St, take the D instead.

SOUTH FERRY STATION: The Main Exit directly out to Peter Minuit Plaza, which has an escalator is closed for renovations this season. Use the other nearby exits.

If you board at any of the skipped stops, simply will have to wait for a local F train.

TO GAME & FROM GAME: 4 5 TrainThere is no 4 Service in Brooklyn this weekend due to Hurricane Sandy repairs. 5 Trains do not run in Brooklyn on weekends.

If you are coming from along the Nostrand Avenue Line or the Eastern Parkway Line, take the 2 or 3, respectability, to Atlantic Avenue for R service to Whitehall Street.

If you are coming from the north, 5 trains will not run south of Grand Central and 4 trains will not run south of Brooklyn Bridge. Try to switch to the 1, 2, 3, or R trains

D TrainFROM GAME: Coney Island Bound D Trains run on the N line from 36 St to Stillwell Avenue.

To access the skipped stops, you will need to backtrack.

SIR LogoTO GAME: Trains board at the Tottenville-bound platform from Jefferson Av to Clifton Stations.

Consider using Staten Island Railway’s Park & Rides instead of parking near the ballpark, as parking will be an issue.
