Hudson Valley Renegades

The Brooklyn Cyclones return home this weekend to play a important 3-game McNamara Division Series with the Hudson Valley Renegades. It will be action packed weekend at MCU Park, as the team will give out Bobbleheads of a 90s sitcom star, and fans can take batting practice while enjoying a BBQ with some of the players.

Friday, July 8th, 7:00 PM

RHP Gabriel Llanes (0-2, 4.71) vs LHP Brock Burke (0-1, 4.61)

Fireworks_WebThere is not much on the schedule for Friday Night. It is First Responders Night, as the team will show its thanks to the city’s hardworking EMS staff.

The gates of MCU Park will open at 5:15 PM for Season Ticket Holders and 5:30 PM for everyone else.

Before the game, the CUNY Athletic Conference will honor the 10 Students who finished in the Top 10 of the StudentsFirst Rewards Program. Prizes include CUNYAC Prize Packs, Tablets, Laptops & the grand prize of a year’s tuition for any CUNY School. Be in your seats for that, as a certain Brooklyn Cyclones fan will be honored by the CUNYAC.

Following the game will be Coney Island Fireworks.

Saturday, July 9th, 6:00 PM

RHP Harol Gonzalez (1-1, 3.63) vs RHP Jose Alonzo (1-1, 0.64)

FullHouseNight_WebSaturday will be Full House Night at MCU Park. The team will be giving out bobbleheads of John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse in the show. Only the 1st 2,000 fans into MCU Park will receive these special bobbleheads, which are a hot item on eBay. The game is presented by Wearsafe.

The team will be wearing special Full House Jerseys. They will be available in the Team Store for $110. Those who purchased special tickets for the game get a guaranteed bobblehead and a replica Full House Jersey.

The gates of MCU Park will open at 4:15 PM for Season Ticket Holders and 4:30 PM for everyone else.

Following the game will be a post-game fireworks show from the outfield of MCU Park.

Sunday, July 10th, 1:00 PM

RHP Merandy Gonzlez (2-0,2.21) vs RHP Spencer Moran (1-1, 2.87)

SpecialDayGame_WebSunday will be a crazy day at MCU Park, once the game ends.

The team originally planned for Old Timer’s Day, where they would have some former Brooklyn Cyclones come. However, the plan was nixed for various reasons.

It will be a hot one, as we have a 1:00 PM start time. The gates of MCU Park will open at 11:15 AM for Season Ticket Holders and 11:30 AM for everyone else. Following the game, kids can run the bases.

Also following the game will be the Season Ticket Holder BBQ and Batting Practice. Fans will be able to mingle with players while enjoying lunch. The exact details of how it will work (where it will be, how fans access it) will be posted as soon as the team confirms it. Fans can also take some swings of the bat and see how far they can hit the ball.

During that time, there will also be Paint in the Park. Fans who sign up can paint with some members of the Brooklyn Cyclones and have a glass of wine in the Wine Drives & Short Hops Bar, located on the 1st floor of MCU Park. For all the info on that, CLICK HERE.
