College MCU ParkThis busy week will bring 6 college baseball games to MCU Park over the course of 5 days before a break of over two weeks.

The NYU Violets will begin their 3rd season at MCU Park with 18 new players on the roster. They are coming off a 20-win season that saw their catcher, CJ Picerni, drafted by the Nationals.

3rd Year Head Coach Doug Kimbler has also made some changes to his coaching staff, adding Cyclones Ticket Rep & former NYIT player Tommy Cardona following the departures of Jake Chaplin & Ray Kim from his staff.

On Wednesday, March 1st, 2017, the Violets will open their 3rd season at MCU Park with a doubleheader versus the Bloodhounds of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Game 1 is scheduled for 12:00 PM with the second game beginning 30 minutes after the first.

This will be the 2nd Opening Day that the Violets have faced John Jay, having swept them to open the 2016 season.

BaruchOne day later, on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017, the Baruch Bearcats will return to MCU Park for match-up against the William Paterson University Pioneers. The 9-inning game will start at 3:30 PM with gates opening around 3:00 PM.

Admission to this game is free for everyone.

NYU LogoTwo days later, on Saturday, March 4th, 2017, NYU will return home to face off against the Rutgers – Newark Scarlet Raiders at 1:00 PM for a single game.

They will finish off the weekend with a doubleheader on Sunday, March 5th, 2017, with a doubleheader against the SUNY – Canton Kanagroos. Game 1 will start at 12:00 PM and the second game will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of Game 1.

Admission to NYU Violets games is $5 and free to all those with a NYU Student, Staff, Faculty or Alumni Card.
