Founder & Editor-In-Chief: Daniel S. Weiss

barry-photoFrom running Brooklyn Baseball Banter, to serving as an admin of Brooklyn Cyclones Facebook groups and co-hosting Brooklyn Cyclones Podcasts, Daniel is one of the most dedicated Cyclones fan out there.

Daniel has been a die hard Brooklyn Cyclones fan since the team began playing in Brooklyn. He has been a New York Mets fan since 1998.He just finished his 4th season as a Brooklyn Cyclones Season Ticket Holder in Section 16, where he is known as the Brooklyn Cowbell Guy.

Among the many things Daniel has done for Cyclones fans include founding the Facebook Group Die Hard Brooklyn Cyclones Fans in November 2011, which merged with REAL BKLYN CYCLONES FANS, where Daniel is currently one of the admins. He also overseas the Facebook page Brooklyn Cyclones: News & Memes.

During the Winter of 2016, Daniel helped launch the Boardwalk Battalion fan club, along with Gary McDonald & Samuel Williams


daniel-weiss-metsAside from writing for Brooklyn Baseball Banter, Daniel has written for the now-defunct MLB Insider’s Club Magazine & was a writer for the obituary for Warner Fusselle for BrooklynFans.com.

Daniel has had articles published for Mack’s Mets, Jewish Link of Bergen County, Jewish Link of New Jersey, Jewish Link of Bronx, Westchester & Connecticut & a few other papers.

Daniel is also frequent guest of Gary McDonald’s on Cyclones FeverCast. He also has been a guest on Ralph Tyko’s The Zone on a few occasions.


Card FrontFor his dedication, Daniel was featured in the 2014 Brooklyn Cyclones team set as the official Super Fan. If you bring your card over to him, he will sign it. If you would like a signed copy of the card, just go over and ask him for one. They can also be purchased on his eBay page, with proceeds going to fund Brooklyn Baseball Banter.

During the Brooklyn Cyclones season, Daniel can usually be found in his seat right next to the home dugout (Section 16, Row A, Seat 7), scoring the game, during all home games.

During the College Baseball season when NYU & Baruch play their games at MCU Park, Daniel can be found watching the game from the concourse behind the plate.
